Frances Cloud started her City career in 1987 and spent more than 20 years as an analyst and investment banker before setting up Pharmacloud. In that time, she worked for a number of banks, including Nomura International, IMI Securities and Swiss Bank Corporation (now part of UBS). Pharmaceuticals were always her focus, but the opening up of the eastern European stock markets in the early 1990s led her to switch to looking at generics and she soon expanded her coverage to include all of Europe and also the emerging markets of India and the MENA region.
Frances is a regular speaker at industry conferences and attends industry events such as CPhI and the EGA/IGPA meetings. She is a graduate in Biochemistry from Magdalen, Oxford and is a CFA charterholder.
